I love winter

I love this weather! Beautiful sunny winter day . . . a bit chilly, but tons of fresh white snow that just fell last night piled up everywhere. The kind of day that used to have me bolt out the front door when I was a kid to build a snow fort on the front lawn.
I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t have winters like these.

I was in Motreal over the week end. Gorgeous.
But you’de better hope this is the last big fall. Your snow removal contracts end on the 15th.
Don’t we know it, too! Typical municipal government short-sightedness, when we always get snow well into April . . .
You must not have a car to move before the Onions/snow plows come around… It snowed on May 3 last year!
I like the snow (in Montreal) as well, but its the slush that gets to me. As I’m walking to school or to a friend’s place cars splash me pretty often and there’s nothing I can do about it
.
But, the snow is pretty cool.
I find Toronto is worse then Montreal for slush, it’s slightly warmer and it seems every street corner is designed to be a 6 inches deep slush and water pit that extends halfway accross the street.
