Catch-up time

Believe it or not, other newsworthy things happened in the world yesterday and today. You’d never know it from watching the local news, of course, which has been covering Dawson nonstop since yesterday afternoon. But here are a few things that happened in the world outside our little corner:

    The most mentioned target of Amnesty’s middle east work is Iran. Hyperpartisans on various sides always complian their country is being picked on unfairy. Almost always not true.

    Aboutthe Germany rabbi thing, I’d comment on Yourish’s site, but they’d think that I was a troll. So…

    Perhaps some see a new rabbinical school in Germany as proof of reflourishing life in Germany. I see it as Jews refusing to wake up and learn lessons, especially freight-truck sized lessons that have already run you over.
