This is worrisome for other countries that are relying on European supply for #COVID19vaccines, including #Canada. After reassurances last month that the controls wouldn't affect us, now it's looking less certain.

Breaking: Quebec on Thursday reports biggest daily increase yet in the number of presumptive #COVID19 cases involving variants of concern: up by 133 to 1,353.
So what is #Quebec doing with the AstraZeneca vaccines we received? Sticking them in a warehouse to expire like the rapid tests?
Suggestion: Use them to vaccinate 100,000 teachers.

Second straight day when our "mass" #covid19vaccine campaign has vaccinated only 16k people per day, i.e. <1/4 of the daily average we need to hit the September target.
At this pace, it will take 2.5 years to vaccinate everyone in #Quebec.
Quebec has received its weekly shipment of Pfizer vaccines (100,620). There were actually fewer vaccines administered yesterday than the day before.
Montreal alone is averaging about 7,000 vaccines administered a day over the past five days.
