Legault: Hospitalizations are falling... #Quebec is past the peak... oh wait...
🤖 : 3299 hospitalisations (+16) dont 263 personnes aux soins intensifs (-10) (en date du 24 janvier 2022)
So, so little attention being paid to #LongCOVID in the media. Too many people thinking infection is "inevitable" and "might as well get it over with". They don't understand that even a so-called mild case can lead to permanent damage.
#Quebec: $20M on school ventilation; $133M on government advertising.
@francoislegault lied to you: Schools aren't his "highest priority"; his own ego is.
Les provinces avec les populations les plus proches du Qc pour l’argent allouer à la ventilation
ON:4900 écoles, 600M
BC:1936 écoles, 87,5M
QC:2748 écoles, 20M
L’éducation devait être la spécialité de la @coalitionavenir et @francoislegault

For the gazillionth time this month, update on my social media feed from a friend who tested negative on an RAT 2 days ago, only to test positive today.
PSA: If you test -, assume it's COVID. Test again 48-72 hours later. And isolate in the meantime.
The numbers for cancer and heart disease are staggering.
And this doesn't even account for all the other medical conditions that aren't being treated, diagnosed, or even acknowledged.
These are also deaths caused by COVID, whether directly or indirectly.
1) Evidence is emerging that in addition to Quebec, other provinces are now resuming délestage, purposely ramping down clinical activities in the #pandemic so as to not overwhelm hospitals. In this thread, I'll try to assess the potential long-term impact of délestage in Canada.
