Just finished reading @ToulasTake 's excellent book, We The Others, about the allophone immigrant experience in Montreal. Highly recommend adding this to your holiday reading lists, if you haven't already picked up your copy.
Picked up one of these babies on a Cyber Monday deal (thanks for the heads up, @Balloonian !) Is it just me or is this reading quite high for apartment air? Sure, nobody's home but us and the windows are closed cause it's cold out, but even so?

Amazing work by my friend @UzzieJeans to make life a little easier, not just for herself but for all patients who will l have to undergo less pain as a result. Way to go!
Amy Tsang & Uzema Jeena wanted to help patients and health care workers have an easier and less painful experience during blood draws. They fundraised & purchased the Vein Viewer: a futuristic piece of equipment that illuminates veins. 👏Thank you for your generosity & support!
