That didn’t take long

Israeli traitor Mordechai Vanunu is back under arrest, jsut seven months after he finished serving an 18-year prison sentence for selling state secrets. Ostensibly this new arrest comes because he couldn’t keep his mouth shut, as per the terms of his release agreeement.

I heard they restrained him to keep him from composing any more of his horrible poetry…

Here’s a sample for your pleasure:

“Rise and cry out. Rise and tell the people.
You can.
I, the bolt, the technician, mechanic —
Yes, you.
You are the secret agent of the people. You are
the eyes of the nation.
Agent-spy, tell us what you’ve seen. Tell us
what the insiders, the clever ones, have
hidden from us.
Without you, there is only the precipice.
Only catastrophe.”

I’m not entirely convinced that it isn’t just a witchhunt. Even if he’s “still talking,” he has been in prison for 20 years and the information he apparently has must be years out of date. Why is the govt. there still pursuing this?
