  • It’s Wednesday, aka humpday. (Which could have multiple meanings depending on who you ask.)
  • Fajita Wednesday at 3 Amigos is the perfect midweek pick-me-up. Especially with those really good frozen strawberry pina coladas. Mmmmmm.
  • It’s too early to be this cold and mid-winter-like! I’m in total denial. I’m still insisting on wearing my fall jacket, and I’ve yet to change my tires.
  • There’s nothing like spending time with someone who has just returned home after a decade-long absence and is completely enthralled by the snow and cold to make you appreciate it laugh at them.

Lol. Strangely enough, I’m enjoying the weather today. Feeling all x-massy (that’ll last another 2 days and then I’ll be sick of the music). You gotta admit it looks perty outside and its not cold.

About 3 amigos, did you ever try their chicken egg rolls with peach sauce? Delicious! Not an apetizer though, the portion is almost enough for a main course.

“Do sheep shrink when it rains?”
You’re not supposed to put them in the dryer; read the ‘Laundry’ label…

Got my snowtires on, had the oil changed and replaced wiper blades.

Now if only I’d the money to pay someone to start it up, scape off the windows and chauffeur me around…..while peeling a grape.

So soon this year! Is it too early to kick Frosty’s ass?

And I can’t go to three amigos cuz I only got two…;)

OK. Its freezing. I almost didn’t make it accross the street its so freakin’ windy on Rene-Levesque. My hair got blown to hell and my eyes watered off my mascara. My ears are still burning. I’m pissed. Screw x-mas. TGIF.

    Snowtires?….heheheh

  • Pauline 11.26.05, 5:01 PM

It’s because of people like you that I will have to get myself to WalMart at 8 AM on a Sunday just for an oil change.
My snow tires went on November 8.
    Grrrrrrrrr.

(And hi, I found you via google, while searching for “maudite anglaise”. Don’t ask.)

    What are snowtires?

Today it was about 25 degrees in most of Israel and it’s going to be like that all week. Why are you guys still living over there?

  • segacs 11.27.05, 12:50 AM

Hey Pauline, welcome. I’ve taken the liberty of linking your blog. Hey, us Montreal bloggers need to stick together, eh?

  • DaninVan 11.27.05, 12:56 AM

    Josh;
“What are snowtires?” Damned if I know; nobody out HERE has ’em.

  • Pauline 11.27.05, 4:42 PM

Thanks for the link, happy to reciprocate.

See! I knew if I waited an hour or so it would all go away; back to my green lawn, gardening and sunshine.

‘Today it was about 25 degrees in most of Israel…Why are you guys still living over there?’

    Need you ask?

Tre’s having a little trouble with her passport…

  • cliff from montreal 11.28.05, 8:41 PM

Tre asked “Need you ask?” So I thought I’d answer.
Josh, we are gluttons for punishment up here in the north land.We love high taxes, crazy language laws and frozen outdoor freezers and even more taxes. Can’t tell you how fashionable those salt stains look on our boots and pant cuffs. It’s a Montreal tradition complete with the taxi/car/bus splash contest. You are a real Montrealais when you are slushed by a taxi/car/bus.Especially when you are off to an important business meeting. It’s their way of welcoming you to our city.Walk on any busy Montreal street and discover the wonders of potholes hidden under puddles.Yellow snow painting is another secret, but I won’t go there.I could go on but I won’t.

Sheep drown in the rain. Their coats become very heavy and hold them down, they can drown in about two inches of water.

  • DaninVan 11.29.05, 5:05 AM

!…dumb camo for the wolf then, eh?
