Is it something the Suburban might have written?

The Suburban? What’s that got to do with anything?

And I’ll let you know what the documentary is like after I watch it. Or better yet, you can watch for yourself.

    Whoz the Suburban?

    A local newspaper.

The CBC often loses credibility by being blatantly biased, when just reporting the facts would be plenty to discredit the topic.

Their famous piece on Stockwell Day before the 2000 election was ridiculously anti-Day. Day was ridiculous enough, he didn’t need CBC one-sidedness to look silly.

I saw a piece on the Kyoto protocol that suffered in in a similar way. Anyone could see they weren’t even trying to present both sides of the story. Very anti-kyoto.

Or the recent disclosure peice on bodychecking on hockey by nine year olds. Another area where being one-sided was unecessary — the bodychecking idea was crazy enough. But the CBC laid in on thick

I really like the CBC, and think the journalism they produce is generally very good. Compared to US networks, they are a picture in probity. But they can do better.

    (sigh)

The show was blatantly biased (pro-Hillel). The actions of SPHR would have been enough to trash their own image, but the program loses credibility by blatantly taking one side.

The video footage was interesting though. “Not a riot” comments by ii… fairly amusing in retrospect. Bibi is also a great speaker, whether you believe in his policies or not, he has the potential to affect the unaligned in North America

Ikram, the show was on Global, not CBC.

Well, perhaps Global is learning a thing or two from our venerable national broadcaster 🙂

I mean c’mon, the footage of the Hillel president praying was really over the top…

The Suburban could be a benchmark in one-sidedness news reporting.

Anonymous, care to tell us who you are and why you have it in for the Suburban so much?

Having lived in many small Canadian cities over the last couple of years, I can tell you that the Surburban is fairly typical for the local free paper… no better but certainly no worse.

Whoops. I guess I couldn’t resist an opportunity to take a swipe at the CBC. Global’s information documentary content requirements are usually filled by things like “Popstars: The One”. I have no complaints.

The show was so biased that I couldn’t believe it. Maybe “Martin Himel” might have a under table deal with Hillel. Came out of his mouth was bunch of lies. He was trying the show that Jews are peaceful nation and infact they are not at all.

Thank you for making your blatant antisemitism crystal-clear, in case any readers couldn’t figure it out already.
