this is kind of stupid.
I dunno, its kinda like gay people taking back terms like queer that were used against them once upon a time.
By using the phrase “christ killer” in a non-hate context, you lessen the shock and hate value of the term.
Why’s it stupid peter? I promise you the people involved in making the site aren’t stupid.
Knave seems to get part of what’s going on. There is definitely an attempt to take the sting of the term away.
Its also meant to be a bit provocative too – the result is that sometimes people dismiss the site offhand, considering it “stupid” without reading its contents.
Certainly, we’ve come across a whole mess of dumbasses on the site – but on the other hand many people have “gotten it” and we’ve had great discussions and learnt new stuff as a result.

As for the ‘christ killer’ term, we didn’t invent it, we don’t use it, and we don’t deserve it…fer crissake.

well, read the site – its not really a joke – there seems to be a serious message implied by the site.
I’m a Jew (not very observant, but let’s not quibble, eh?) and I found it offensive,; but that’s just my opinion.
I’m a jew, and I didn’t find it offensive, though I get offended by people who are easily offended.
Sometimes, I find myself offensive.
I think I’ll get one, but no gentiles better be calling themselves “Christ Killers,” just to fit in.
