I won’t be rolling out the welcome wagon

Looks like Karla Homolka’s moving to N.D.G. That’s my neighbourhood. And I’m not exactly thrilled she’s planning on moving in.

It’s fairly obvious to everyone that Homolka has no business being out on the streets… let alone my streets. If there was any justice in the world, they’d lock her up for good and throw away the key.

I see no particular reason to be angry at Ms. Homolka. She honoured her side of the plea bargain agreement. She has served just about every day of her sentence (no remission or parole at all)…and now wants to get on with her life. Provided that she does so in a law-abiding fashion, I don’t see a problem.

ya and I wouldn’t mind to be raped by her anyway…. as long as she doesn’t kill me.

I wonder what kind of pressure we could put on the mayor, to either force the issue and (her) out of Montreal, or get the neighborhood involved in a community action.

I dont care if she “held up” her side of the deal or not, she’s a murderer.

I would not want a murderer living in my neighborhood (i live downtown)regardless if she did her time or not. This is one of those legal issues I have problems with coming from the U.S. that “life in prison” is not something we use in Canada.

The justice systems seems too lax on certain cases. She should remain behind bars for the rest of her life.

That’s all I have to say about his Convicted FELON!!!

Would capital punishment have been appropriate?
From what I’ve read, there’s credible evidence that she was as willing a participant as her partner. Is it just that she serve 12 years for the rape and murder of these girls?

A women who would aid in the murder of her own younger sister stands little chance of every being reformed. It’s not because Karla has served her sentence that she’s out, but rather because she played the victim card so well.

she the only thing she should get is an acting award and life in jail. I wonder how some of these guys would feel if it was one of their family members that was killed. Obviously these guys do not have kids.
